Nursing is one of the noblest profession, which occupies the largest bulk of the health care force. Universal Nursing College (UNC) has been estab- lished with an intention to produce Nursing Graduates, capable to provide quality health care service to the people of Bangladesh. It was decided that Nursing College will be non-profitable and will produce quality Nurses.
Universal Nursing College, earlier known as Nursing Institute, approved by Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery council since December 2013.
In January 2019 the nursing institute was upgraded to Graduate Nursing College, approved by Bangladesh Government, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and affiliated by the Dhaka University and renamed as Universal Nursing College.
At Present the college offers the programs-
3-year Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery- Session(2019-2020) 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Session(2019-2020)
2-year Post-Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing and- Session(2019-2020) 2- year Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) ( Under Processing)
A beautifully arranged campus with well-equipped ventilated class room, modern teaching facilities- computer, multimedia, internet, projector, and adequate research and study zone for the students.
Our Governing Body took over the responsibility and ownership and they developed it to a satisfactory level in quality. We are committed to improve our College to ensure the best quality nursing education for the students. Our educational strategy is to create a conductive learning environment to acquire sufficient knowledge and fulfill our dream.
The college is equipped withqualified student assistance and all the teach- ers are involved in strong guidance and counselling to students.
Nursing study and profession is advancing each and every day with advancement of science and technology. Global changes are happening in nursing education in accordance and conformity of these advancements and changes. With the application of these knowledge and skills of nursing science, future nurse should satisfy their patients with the changing needs of the community. Keeping these all in mind the aim of Universal Nursing College is to produce nurses who will dedicated and sincere to the patients.
